It’s that time of year again where video game companies toss games off the cliff that is the holiday season in hopes that at least one will survive! So many games, so little time/money. What games are on your mind or in your laps at the moment?

Things are starting to return to normality here on the east coast after the Nor’easter that managed to black us out of commission for a days. I’m back at my own place with electricity and all the essentials, so I can finally continue this chapter of Kiki. Though life is making it a bit rough around the edges, so don’t be surprised if a delay pops up.

This is a bit of a copy and paste from a reply I gave to a comment on our Facebook fan page, but I’m going to post it here as well. I’m sure a lot of folks are also wondering what’s been going down here for the past months.

The Angry Rabbit crew is doing fine, though life is presenting the usual roadblocks along the way. We’re all tied up in our own personal situations, which hasn’t left us with much time for posting new content. But we’re still looking to come back with a major update and site overhaul in the coming days. We’re looking at taking the site in a different direction then what we’ve been doing so far. Things are still in the development stage so we’ll be rolling out the new site update little by little as we go along. It’s going to be new uncharted territory for all of us, but we want to do it right the first time rather then put out something shoddy and unusable. We’ll be putting up a full post detailing exactly what we’re planning soon.

At the moment, I’m trying to figure out how to fit doing a comic series again in my daily schedule. I’m currently working at a temporary day job, while at the same time developing the next redesign of the Angry Rabbit site since I’m the only one in the group with web design experience. It’s a bit of a juggling act balancing  all these things, and it hasn’t left me with much time to work on art at the moment. I have to put certain priorities first, even at the cost of some of my favorite hobbies. Some tough decisions for sure will have to be made about the future of Kitsune Kiki, but I won’t count out webcomics as still begin a major part of the website when we relaunch. If anything, I still want to finish the chapter where I left off and  perhaps do a more simpler comic series I can post at a consistent schedule. Unfortunately, a lot of this depends on my current day job situation and how stable things are on the home front.

We’re all still pretty stoked about what’s in store for Angry Rabbit and I’m hopping everyone that’s been sticking with us through all of our long hiatuses will like what we’ve been cooking up during our absence.

I still appreciate the comments concurring Kitsune Kiki, and how much love for my little series there still is. It always gives me a extra boost in getting this website update up an running live ASAP for you guys! :)

I’ll be posting updates on my progress with the site redesign as much as I can on my own twitter account and stay tune to the main Angry Rabbit twitter account as well. We’ll be putting up a live beta build of the new site soon enough and will need folks to test it and give feedback.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to type up a short recap of what’s been going on these past weeks.We’ve all been off and on in terms of updates as our offline lives have continued to not let us take a breather. Both Ed and Dave right now have been busy with their day jobs and so haven’t had time to contribute to the site as much as they would have like to. That pretty much left me to tend to a lot of the website’s needs like comic updates, updating the software and tweeking certain things throughout the homepage. Not counting the freak snow storm that appeared in October, it has been a pretty expensive month for myself (As well as Ed and Dave) and thus has forced me to find employment much sooner then I had anticipated.

While I’m on the job hunt, I’ve been doing small odd jobs and selling a few items in order to keep up with the usual bills and expenses. This has caused me to neglect Kitsune Kiki for weeks and I still don’t feel comfortable continuing the comic or making any major Angry Rabbit related additions until I’m a bit more finically steady. As much as I hate holding up the comic because of the usual life issues, I also don’t want to put out work just because I’m trying to juggle so many responsibilities at once. We’re grateful  a lot of our fans already understand this and will continue to support our site once we all get our lives back in order. Hopefully this hiatus won’t be too long, but I’ll continue to keep you all updated if something else comes up.

Hope you all had a happy and safe Halloween this year. It was pretty much canceled here.

Things have become a bit problematic here on our side of the US. In case you have or haven’t heard, the entire northeast was hit by an early nor’easter that pretty much leveled most of the trees, telephone poles, and cell towers in our state. At the time I was at Ed and Dave’s house during the storm, but the next day I wasn’t even able to get back to my own house with a big fallen tree blocking one side of the street and the telephone pole picture above blocking the other. After a few days or so, the tree was finally cleared, but unfortunately the telephone pole still remains down and with that the electricity for the entire street.

Luckily Ed and Dave’s house just got power and internet back yesterday, so I’ve been crashing there until things return to normalcy in my neck fo the woods. But until then, I won’t be able to produce anything for the Kiki comic this week. I’ll keep you guys and gals posted if anything new comes up.

This week has been nothing but making phone calls and non-Angry Rabbit related graphic work. Luckily this is the last week of it, but it has left me with no time to work on the comic for Friday. I do have some fan art at least to show. A picture of Shinobu from No More Heroes I did for another art related contest. Didn’t win this one, but I still like the results. Especially the hands since I’m terrible at them. If you’re liking these fan-art/random art related post on Angry Rabbit, let me know and I’ll try to put some of my non-Kiki work up. They won’t always be as finished as the last two pieces I’ve posted, but I’ll try to put up something that might be of intrest.

I’m also on the hunt for full-time employment, so expect slight burst of delays and hiatuses in the coming months until I can get my finances in check.
