This comic goes out to all the folks stuck in this current spring cold snap. Drink plenty of hot tea, but make it yourself!

What is this cold you speak of? I was wearing shorts all winter and I never noticed any cold, and I live in northern Wisconsin.

Some parts of the states have been experiencing below normal temperatures for this time of year. It actually snowed some this morning. Though nature this year has been having all sorts of mood swings. I guess the snow today makes sense considering it was April Fools Day. ;)

Things have steadily improved though over the course of time this comic was made.

^–Named Sam too. Anyway, it’s been colder here too, but I’ve been known to wear shorts, sandals, and shirtless in 30 below temp. I like the cold. ^_^

You’re the second Sam to post on here! The site must be attracting them! XD

Wearing sandals and shorts in these kinds of temps is a big difference to the two-three layers of clothing I’m wearing now just to keep warm, lol.

I’m not a fan of cold, but at the same time I’m not a fan of humid weather either. Which is why I like the spring and fall times since they’re a nice in between the two extremes.

I like it right about 30 or 40 degrees. Anything more than that and I sweat to death. How many people work on this comic? And do you have any suggestions on how to learn Japanese? Great comic too, when I started reading it I read it all in about 5 hours non stop. ^_^

Originally the comic started out with me and David coming up with ideas and names, while I drew the content. These days I’m taking care of both the story and artwork for the most part. While at the same time doing the graphic and web design for Angry Rabbit Studios as a whole.

Ed works behind the scenes for the studio, but he’s also in the process of getting his own comic series up and Dave is usually around for responding to comments, emails, forum post, etc. But we’re all wearing many hats on this site, so things don’t fall strictly on one person’s shoulders.

As for learning Japanese, I’d say the best way to hit the ground running like with anything is taking school/college courses based around both writing and reading. Some community colleges even offer night courses if you look hard enough. I only have two years experience as far as education goes on the subject, so I’m in no ways an expert and only know a few phrases. But I plan to dive more into the language in the future for sure.

And thanks again for the input on the comic so far! Wow, 5 hours?! Hope your eyes aren’t foggy from staring at the screen all that time, lol! But it’s great to hear the series can keep your intrest for that long. :)

I’ve been an avid reader for over a year now, but yea, great comic. ^_^ As far as fuzzy eyes go, I can sit here and stare at the screen for 20+ hours without getting fuzzy. I currently have no life outside of cyber space but am attempting to get back into college. If you need any help with ideas or anything let me know, I’m always thinking of things that might be useful in one way or another.

Here in Scotland that weather has been pretty reasonable, low 50′s lately I think, suppose to get up to 60 in a few days.

As for the weather improving for you, maybe it’s because it approved of the comic? I know I certainly liked panel three’s expression anyway =P

It was actually getting pretty reasonable here just a few weeks ago. We had temperatures that were right around the weather in Scotland. It even got as high as 70 degrees one day (Which I’m glad I was able to get out of the house and enjoy). But then it suddenly colder last week into this week.

I imagine the weather would improve in the comic’s world, considering it takes place San Francisco. Though it can get very cold there as well since it’s so close to the water.

Haha, yeah you can tell I had much fun drawing the expresion in panel 3. ;)
